The Space Between is a reflective album full of flair, funk, and personality – much like Robinson, herself. Written as she knocked on the door of adulthood, Robinson crafted the album in response to a second coming of age. “I wrote these songs in response to dynamic changes that caused priorities to shift in the close relationships I had built upon entering my third decade of life.” Featuring a range of styles from the hip-hop infused opener, Who Am I?, to the smooth meditative mantra, Hang Tight, the album is layered with blankets of vocal harmonies, lap steel, strings, theremin, and Robinson’s trademark ukulele.
